Who are you??
We’re collectors who want to give something back to the comics community. After many years of reading ’em and stashing ’em away, we realised that there was a gap in the market for an online shop that really cared about comics and the people who collect them (that’s you). We hope our passion for comics comes across in the site and we hope to give you the service that we always wanted and you enjoy it as much as we do! Our Present roll call is:

How long have you been trading??
Although we’re relatively new kids on the block, We’ve just had our Fourth Birthday (And what a crazey couple of years it’s been), this has honed our enthusiasm and love of comics into a professional and experienced company.
How do you grade your comics??
Very strictly! All comics are near-mint (NM) unless otherwise stated.
Which methods of payment do you accept??
Credit cards (MasterCard & Visa), cheques and money orders. Now for the brutal stuff. If you decide to pay by cheque, you have five working days to submit it – otherwise, your order will be cancelled. Your comics won’t be sent until your cheque clears. Once it does, we’ll swing into action. There. Now we can be friendly again!
How long will my delivery take??
We don’t make claims about delivery times that we can’t guarantee. We offer First Class Recorded Delivery and for express (Fast!) or large orders we use Interlink Express.
Our promise is that all orders will be dispatched within 48 hours of your payment clearing. We feel the Royal Mail is extremely unpredictable so if you chose this option you could be waiting up to 21 Days for delivery. If you want your comics quickly go for the Special Delivey options. If your order is made before 12 Noon it will be packed up and shipped for next day delivery, after Noon It will be shipped the following day for delivery the next day. The Royal Mail does note deliver on Sunday!

Royal Mail Recorded Parcel: Flat rate, £5.95 for up to 25 comics (U.K Only) Allow 14 Days for Delivery.
(Please Note: Royal Mail Recorded is a brilliant service but you do have to sign for it on delivery! If the postman cannot deliver he will leave a card, If you do not pick up your order from the post depot in the alotted time they will return it to us and you may have to pay extra postage for us to send it to you again. So! Keep em peeled for the postmans card).

Why Does my credit card not work and
whats all this avs nonsense??
We have just implemented a new payment gateway that is extremely pedantic…The usual problem is the billing address is wrong (You have to input the exact address that you have your credit card statement’s sent to in the billing address section) or part of the post code has been wrongly impute. you also have to put the name as shown on your credit card.
Are my details safe with comix-shop??
Absolutely. We will never pass them on to another company. Any information we hold about our customers is protected from evil-doers by a rock-hard firewall. And now that we’ve gone plastic in the payment department, secure server software encrypts your credit card information before it even reaches us. The encrypted data is deleted from our systems once payment has been processed.
Are my comics insured against loss or damage??
Completely!
What happens if my order is lost or damaged??
That’s extremely unlikely, but just in case we have ways of tracing lost parcels (Interlink Only!). Should yours go missing, we’ll send out new comics as soon as we are sure they are well and truely lost (After 21 days!). Anything that reaches you in a damaged condition will be replaced upon return of the goods.
What is your refund policy??
If you don’t receive your goods within 28 days, we will give you the option of a full refund or if you wish we will try sending your order again. For up to three days after you place your order, you can cancel it. If we’ve already processed the order you will have to return the comics then we’ll give you a full refund. And these are full monetary refunds – not credit notes. If you’re unsure about anything, just contact the ever-helpful Toby. If that doesn’t confuse you, nothing will!
Why Doesn’t the Shopping Basket work??
It does, but you have to have “Accept Cookies ” turned on in your browser preferences as the shopping cart uses Cookies to process orders or you have disabled pop up’s and we use pop ups for our shopping cart.
